A biophilic living room favours warm travertine-look or limestone-look porcelain in 600×1200mm honed format, then layers in jute or sisal rugs, linen and bouclé seating in cream and oat, and at least three substantial plants — fiddle-leaf fig, monstera, dracaena. Walls in soft warm-white or pale clay; one piece of botanical art or a stone-topped table. The living room should feel like an extension of the garden, all warm natural materials and living greenery.
